Grim Angelz

Biography
Grim Angelz

Rise Through the Shadows
The Grim Angelz cut their teeth in the brutal underhive skirmishes of Necromunda, where they first earned their “badass” moniker. Operating as a nomadic kill-team, they specialized in void-born ambushes: drop-pod assaults laced with hallucinogenic gas to sow terror among mutant cults, followed by chainsword purges that left no survivors to whisper tales. Their signature tactic, the “Winged Reaper,” involved feigned retreats that lured enemies into kill-zones rigged with collapsing hive corridors and auto-cannon traps. In one legendary purge on the forge world of Ryza, they single-handedly dismantled a rogue tech-priest cabal allied with the Dark Mechanicum, emerging from the slag pits coated in oil-black gore, their banners fluttering like vengeful specters.By M42.015, as the Great Rift tore the galaxy asunder, the clan had swollen to over 500 souls— a mix of gene-bulked enforcers, psyker-null outcasts, and salvaged servo-skulls wired for sabotage. They allied uneasily with the Deathwatch, providing deniable assets for xenos exterminations, but their true loyalty lay in the hunt. Voss’s lieutenants formed the clan’s iron core: Sister-Sergeant Mira “Harrow” Kane, a former Sororitas who wielded a blessed eviscerator with the fury of a saint scorned; Tech-Adept Grimlok, a squat ogryn-augmented forge-born who jury-rigged daemon-engines into loyalty; and the enigmatic “Shade,” a blanks-wielding orphan whose mere presence could silence warp-spawned shrieks.Their arsenal was a scavenger’s dream: looted eldar shuriken catapults mounted on chimera hulls, Necron phase-blades reforged into monomolecular whips, and a fleet of blacked-out Aquila landers dubbed “Fellwings.” No ornate power armor for these angels; their voidsuits were patched with flak and festooned with purity seals stained by the blood of the unfaithful. They thrived on the edge, smuggling lasguns to rebel cells while executing commissars who faltered, always one step ahead of the Ordo Hereticus’s purge squads.
